Meet Your Teacher — Loretta Jo
Hello! I'm Loretta Jo, founder of Yoga-Mojo, an E-RYT 500, YACEP, experienced yoga teacher, author, retreat leader, and yoga teacher-trainer with more than two decades of teaching experience.
Yoga has been an extraordinary part of my life, and sharing its many dimensions with others continues to be one of my greatest joys.
My teaching is rooted in alignment-based Hatha and Vinyasa yoga, with an emphasis on mindful movement, breath awareness, and the connection between body, mind, and spirit.
Over the years, I've developed the Yoga-Mojo Method, an approach to sequencing that thoughtfully integrates pranayama (breathwork), asana (physical postures), dharana (concentration), meditation, and relaxation.
I believe yoga is so much more than the physical poses we practice. Through mythology, philosophy, mantras, mudras, and meaningful reflections, I invite students to explore the deeper dimensions of yoga—and discover how the lessons we experience on the mat can enrich our lives off the mat.
As the author of The Art of Vinyasa Sequencing – The Yoga-Mojo Method, Maturing on the Mat – Teaching Yoga to Seniors, and Yoga Mythology, I am passionate about sharing yoga in ways that are accessible, inspiring, educational, and meaningful.
I also lead Yoga-Mojo Yoga Teacher Training programs, workshops, and retreats, encouraging students and teachers alike to remain curious, continue learning, and embrace the lifelong journey of yoga.
Whether you're new to yoga, returning to your practice, or have been practicing for many years, I encourage you to honor your body, explore your possibilities, and discover a practice that supports you.

Yoga Nidra
Yoga-Mojo Yoga Nidra offers guided meditation practices designed to invite deep rest, relaxation, and greater awareness of body, breath, and mind.
Often called “yogic sleep,” Yoga Nidra is practiced comfortably lying down or resting in a supported position while you are guided through a systematic journey of awareness. Rather than trying to do or achieve something, the practice invites you to remain at ease as attention moves through the body, breath, sensations, imagery, and deeper states of stillness.
Each Yoga-Mojo Yoga Nidra is thoughtfully guided and may incorporate a sankalpa (intention), body awareness, breath observation, visualization, and periods of quiet. Practices may also be inspired by the seasons, nature, the elements, chakras, or other Yoga-Mojo themes.
Yoga Nidra can be a beautiful complement to an active yoga practice—or enjoyed entirely on its own whenever you are seeking an opportunity to slow down, restore, and reconnect.
Settle in. Get comfortable. Listen to the guidance—and allow yourself the gift of deep rest.
